Aerial Yoga explores a repertoire of stretches, inversions and/or transitions with the use of hammock fabrics.
Hale works with 2 types of fabrics – parachute trapeze and stretchy silk. Different fabrics cater to different types of poses.
Aerial yoga benefits include and not limited to:

> Intensity level: 2 to 3/10
> Suitability: First timer friendly
> Class focus on aerial high and low ground stretch based poses with minimal inversion.
> Apparatus: Stretchy Silk
> Intensity level: 3 to 4/10
> Suitability: First timer friendly
> Class focus on aerial high and off ground stretch based poses with minimal inversion.
> Apparatus: Parachute Trapeze
> Intensity level: 3 to 8/10
> Suitability: Beginner friendly & Multi-level
> Class focus on basic and intermediate aerial climbs, aerial flow (transitions) and inversions.
> Apparatus: Stretchy Silk
> Intensity level: 4 to 7/10
> Suitability: Multi-level
> Class focus on basic and intermediate climbs, aerial flow (transitions) and inversions. Recommended to try after 3 to 6 months into your aerial yoga journey.
> Apparatus: Stretchy Silk
> Intensity level: 7 to 9/10
> Suitability: Intermediate and above**
> Class focus on intermediate aerial climbs, flow (transitions), and high-ground inversions.
**For those who are new to aerial yoga/hammock or new to our studio, you should find Aerial Silk Hatha (with a minimum 3 to 6 months practice) manageable before attempting Aerial Silk Hatha 2 for safety.
> Apparatus: Yoga Wheel
> Intensity level: 5 to 9/10
> Suitability: Multi-level
> Class focus on flow with wheel and static wheel poses.
> Training balance and/or increase back flexibility.
Designed specifically to open up tight backs and shoulders in back bends postures. Assist in enhancing your flexibility as well as inversion and balancing poses with the use of a yoga wheel.
> Apparatus: Stretchy Silk
> Intensity level: 3 to 8/10
> Suitability: Beginner friendly & Multi-level
Aerial Spinning Techniques is a 75-minute class tailored to incorporate aerial hammock poses and transitions into its spinning variation. While there is no choreography (poses to music) in this class, there is a different spinning flow every week.
We will recommend you take up this in conjunction with Aerial Silk Hatha 1 or 2 (based on your level) to further enhance your spinning experience with us.
There’s no pre-requisite for Aerial Spinning Techniques as there will be modifications and variations for beginners up to intermediate levels.
Aerial Spinning Techniques include
> Upright spinning poses and transitions
> Basic and intermediate inversions for both beginners and intermediate students
> Combination of the above
Note: Only in Schedule during long weekends, Public Holiday (PH) or PH’s eve.
> Apparatus: Lyra Hoop
> 50-mins 1 Hale Yoga Class Credit
> Suitability: First Timer Friendly & Multi-level
Aerial Hoop Stretch is an Aerial Hoop class for one that wants to try out Hoop Apparatus or to build confidence with the Hoop.
There’s no pre-requisite for Aerial Hoop Stretch as it’s a beginner friendly class. We welcome all students to try this new Apparatus to build strength and flexibility within you.
Aerial Hoop Stretch will includes at least one or the combination of the below:
> High ground and low hoop stretches using lyra hoop as an apparatus
> Lyra hoop conditioning
> Upright Hoop poses
> Lyra hoop transitions
> Basic and simple hoop inversions
> Combination of the above
*Do note that the height of the Hoop in our Aerial Hoop Stretch is hang lower than that of our Aerial Spinning Hoop class to further facilitate the Hoop Stretches and to attempt Basic Hoop Poses safely.
> Apparatus: Lyra Hoop
> 50-mins 1 Hale Yoga Class Credit
> Suitability: Beginner Friendly & Multi-level
Aerial Spinning Hoop (Basic) is a 50 minutes class tailored to incorporate aerial hoop poses and transitions into its spinning variation.
While there is no choreography (poses to music) in this course, there’s a different spinning flow every week.
Beginners with aerial experience are welcome to try. However, we will still recommend one to try out Aerial Hoop Stretch for at least 2-3 classes prior to attending Aerial Spinning Hoop(Basic) for a more comfortable experience.
Aerial Spinning Hoop (Basic) includes:
> Upright spinning poses and transitions
> Basic inversions
> Combination of the above
> Apparatus: Lyra Hoop
> 50-mins 1 Hale Yoga Class Credit
> Suitability: Intermediate & Multi-level
Aerial Hoop Technique is an Aerial Hoop class for one that wants further deepen your Hoop practice.
*Not suitable for beginners. You should find Aerial Hoop Stretch manageable, before trying Aerial Hoop Technique. Attanded at least 8 classes of Aerial Hoop Stretch.
Aerial Hoop Technique will include at least one or the combination of the below:
> High ground and low hoop stretches using lyra hoop as an apparatus
> Lyra hoop conditioning
> Upright Intermediate Hoop poses
> Intermediate Lyra hoop transitions
> Intermediate Hoop inversions
> Combination of the above
*Do note that the height of the Hoop in our Aerial Hoop Technique is hang lower than that of our Aerial Spinning Hoop class to further facilitate the Hoop Stretches and to attempt Hoop Poses safely.
> Apparatus: Lyra Hoop
> 75-mins 2 Hale Yoga Class Credit
> Suitability: Intermediate & above**
Aerial Spinning Hoop is a 75 minutes class tailored to incorporate aerial hoop poses and transitions into its spinning variation.
While there is no choreography (poses to music) in this course, there’s a different spinning flow every week.
There’s variations for everyone from intermediate and higher level. However, we will recommend one to try out Aerial Hoop Stretch for 3-6 months prior to attending Aerial Spinning Hoop for a more comfortable experience.
Aerial Spinning Hoop includes:
> Upright spinning poses and transitions
> Basic and intermediate inversions for intermediate students
> Combination of the above
*This is not a beginner friendly class.
There are a wide range of timings available for the different class types at 3 different locations for your convenience.
