Michelle

Michelle first expose to yoga 18 years back when the gym she frequent stared offering yoga classes. Yoga was just another form of exercise then. It grew on her as she continued to practice. She started to learn more about yoga and in 2004 she completed her Yoga instructor certificate course by Swami Vivekananda Anusandhana Samsthana (sVYASA) and in 2005 continued her yoga learning with the Advanced Yoga retreat at sVYASA in India. In the same year she completed the RYT 200 teacher training. Michelle has found many benefits practising yoga. The change she says is a gradual transition. She has become more grounded and calm as a person. Her back issues caused by other sports found relieve in yoga and eventually recovered. What is most satisfying to her is to see her students reaping the same benefits. Michelle had to stop teaching due to hectic work commitments. Throughout the years she left teaching, yoga never left her. Although she found other sports that she is more passionate with she always comes back to yoga for healing. Yoga is like a Mother, nurturing and restoring her mind and body.
